Undergraduates support the postgrads, while also having opportunities to begin their own research. Some of the supporting work includes identifying bat feeding buzzes, mapping carnivore movement, and collecting field samples. Some of the undergraduate projects are...
Being given the opportunity to begin research allows undergraduates to think about what work they want to do. Future aspirations of some of the undergraduates include...
Current Work: Jada is currently working with Sarah to identify the different kinds of insects that reside in bat guano. By delving into the DNA found in bats’ guano, we can uncover genomic sequences that closely match different insect classifications. This helps us better understand bat diets, ecosystem interactions, and local biodiversity.
Aspirations: Jada is a 3rd-year Biology
